Ralph and Alice Walcher Rehabilitation Center
FTMC's Rehabilitation Team includes specialists with advanced training in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, audiology, pediatric therapy, lymphedema therapy and athletic training.
FTMC's state-of-the-art, 22,008 square-foot, Ralph and Alice Walcher Rehabilitation Center opened in 2006 to serve the needs of Huron County and the surrounding area. Currently, over 85 employees treat an average of 3,600 patients monthly.
Rehabilitation Center Features Include:
- Separate waiting rooms for adult and pediatric patients
- Special transition room for pediatric patients and their family members
- Private monitoring system for pediatric treatments
- Pediatric gym plus seven private pediatric therapy rooms
- Spacious adult therapy gym with high ceilings and private exam rooms
- Swim-ex pool adjustable to three different depths, eight distinct workout stations and a treadmill simulator
- Cybex isokinetic testing and exercise equipment
- Work simulation area
- Ergonomic office station for patient training and instruction
- One private room designed to simulate a home living area
- Two fully-equipped audiology testing booths and hearing aid fitting suites
- Two customized rooms for special audiometric testing
